Apparently this P1 GT has been around for a few years now but I’m about 10 years behind when it comes to new cars. Looks like an awesome tribute to one of my all-time favorite cars, the F1 GT

Everyone wants to compare every top tier car they make against the F1, but to me the P1 was just about perfect. Top tier technology for its time, achingly pretty, mind crushing performance but still technically a GT. The Senna and speedtail...yuck. The T.50 might have a shot though.

There will never be another F1. A car built by people with that expertise with a "money no object" approach? Not happening.

I’ll take them all. All of ‘em.

P1 fixed the fatal flaw of the F1...you couldn’t get into or out of it.
Center driving position = Y es!
Having to scrape your shins and hit your head = No.
Passengers are overrated.

I think the original Veyron and the LFA both tried that with varying levels of success. I agree that there will never be another F1 though.

Ill disagree on the veyron , the design of that was fucked and backwards if I recall. Basically, engineers were told “ it looks like this, has 1000hp, and goes 230mph,” without bothering with things like wind tunnels and engine packaging. F1 was basically the opposite. Build the best car possible and see what it does afterwards.

That’s true; I meant it more in terms of them both being one person’s vision of the “perfect” car with an unlimited budget.
